| EBGames.com has recently scored an interview with the creater SimGolf, Sid Meier. The interview gives a little information about the game, which is good for thoes not sure if they should buy the game or not. Here is a small snipit:
What are the limits of the game? Can you continue to build course all over the world? Players can choose to develop property from 16 different locations around the world. In addition, there are four different environments from which they can build their courses, including the lush tropics, sunny desert, historic Scottish links and scenic woodlands. As players gain additional funds from building successful courses more properties then become available to develop.
That's just one of the few questions in the interview, and the rest are well worth the read. You can check out the interview here. |

| Today's comic over at Penny Arcade is a sarcastic look at how adictive the upcoming SimGolf will be. This is the second time a Maxis game has made it onto Penny Arcade, with the last time being related to the cancellation of SimsVille. The new comic can be seen here, and you can check out the older comic here.
Edited by Jason: Apparently there was another comic that many people missed that mentioned SimGolf as well. You can view that comic here. |

| | Electronic Arts will be the first major company to release games to the new packaging standards recommended by the Interactive Digital Software Association (IDSA) in June 2000. The new boxes are 5.25 inches wide, 7.5 inches high, and 1 inch deep. This new standard will see boxes that resemble DVD cases, which will free up much more room for gamers to store their games. Sid Meier's SimGolf is expected to be one of the first titles to be released in the new box size standard, so be sure to keep your eye out. |
